What is Daily Million?
Daily Million is a number draw game in which a player can pick any six numbers (from 1 to 39). At each draw six random numbers are drawn, along with one bonus number. The minimum play for Daily Million is one panel per draw. Each panel they play costs €1.
The top prize is €1 million!
Draws take place twice a day, every day (2pm and 9pm) and the results can be viewed online an hour after each draw.
How to Play Daily Million
There are two main ways to play Daily Million:
Daily Million Advance Play
Daily Million Advance Play means that a player can play up to 7 draws' worth of Daily Million draws in advance. Perfect if the player plans on going away or can't get to a shop. They need to just tick the Advance Play box for one to seven draws, whichever suits best. The ticket the player gets will show the number of draws they’re in and what dates apply.
Advance Play will always include the next Daily Million draw (and Daily Million Plus draws if they decide to play). If they win a prize in any of the draws, they can claim it in the usual way. They’ll get an exchange ticket to cover any draws left on their Advance Play.
Important stuff
If the player bought their ticket from a National Lottery agent, they need to look after it. It's their only valid record for claiming a prize.
If they play before 2pm their ticket will be entered into the 2pm draw, after 2pm they’ll be entered into the draw for 9pm. Check the ticket to see the draw time.
Across each line are the six numbers from the individual panels the player filled in, or random ones if they went for a Quick Pick.
Don't get caught for time!
Bear in mind that the player won't be able to buy their Daily Million ticket immediately before or while the game is actually on.
Sales close at 2pm and 9pm precisely and don't reopen until 10 minutes after each draw has finished.
Any tickets bought for the next draw will be eligible in that draw, right up to terminal closing.
Playing Daily Million Plus?
This gives the player an extra chance to win €500,000 for just 50 cent! If they select to play this draw, the words PLUS YES will be printed on their ticket.
You can reuse their Playslip.
If the player likes to play the same set of numbers every week, they just need to keep the playslip somewhere handy. They don't need to complete a fresh one each time they play.
Winnings
In the event that the €1 Million top prize is not won, it does not rollover to the next Daily million draw. This applies to all categories in the Daily million Game.
Expected prize payout per Daily Million draw is 54.23% of Gross Revenue for that draw. This may vary depending on the actual prize payout on any given Daily Million draw.
The odds of a player winning any prize on Daily Million is 1 in 28
The odds of a player winning any prize if they've played Daily Million and Daily Million Plus is 1 in 14
